Hello I have a 06 mustang gt. I installed 42ibs injectors I ran a few premade tunes from my SCT X4. Ever since I did that I've been popping a P060c code and has been stuck in limp mode. I can't revert back to stock with the injectors or I'll drown the engine. I have no idea how to fix this issue.

The preset tunes I'm running are:
42ibs injectors
Rear O2 sensor delete(engine was rebuilt with a 98' iron block)
JLT CAI
93 Octane

Yes, I had same issue running SCT x4 canned tune. I could actually feel in the performance was not consistent.
But you cannot just delete rear O2 sensors and add 42 lbs injectors with just the handheld X4. Are you "stacking" the canned tune on top of a custom tune? That is exactly what I did and got that code.

No just using those canned tunes from the tuner. The car was using the stock tune before that.

How did you install 42s???
We took out the old fuel injectors and put in the new ones. they didn't use the same connectors so we had to buy new ones remove the old ones and rewire the new connectors into each injector. after that I threw on the canned tune for 42IBS injectors.

The limited options I have seen on handhelds. Like fuel, timing, idle, speed limiter, etc. The simple stuff.

Injector swaps and O2 disabling are beyond the canned tuned available options.

Either way, I had that code with the x4 canned tune. Started using the PRP software, have not seen that code since.

Your SCT came with canned tunes for different injector sizes? And those injector tunes are for the JLT intake also?

Canned tunes come with the device. They usually offer a small improvement over bone stock. You could say those are SCT tunes.
As I said before, I ran the SCT 91 octane tune for a few days and got that same code.

We understand what canned tunes are but they are usually feature adjustments for one parameter, at least the preloaded ones. This guy is running JLT and different size injectors.

His original post says:

93 Octane

You can only run one tune at a time. He says he's running four tunes. That's not right, that's why we are confused. If he tried to load four tunes the only tune that would be in his ecu would be the last one he loaded. If that's the case it's easy, he just needs to go get a custom tune.

Oh,I know what he says he has done. I already said what he has done is not possible to do. The only way the car could possibly run is the new injectors are the same rating as what he took out. There are canned tunes with or without a CAI. So that is possible.

I was answering the question: who is writing these canned tunes. Which makes them custom tunes, not canned tunes. OP alredy said the tunes are not custom.
