Can't wait to see this car in person at the PSCA race this coming weekend. Maybe I will even race Mark with the in car camera on---that would be sweet as he will be pulling away at 25+ mph

You have to remember Mark some of us are not "real" racers and just dyno queens that want to just go fast . And the number is what we are looking for to reach a certain goal we have set for ourselves ( even if it is on 20" DRs) and then we will go after the numbers. I have to admit I am one of those guys and while I love going fast and I love that feeling of the car takeing off , I have a hp goal and I want to meet it . I have to agree with his statement, I am two hours away from a track so shooting for a certain et doesn't help me one bit. I am going for the hp needed in what it should take to get me to the et I am shooting for, then learn to drive it. If I was 20 minutes away form the track then it would be a different story.

Dyno Numbers - Who Cares?
I'm sorry... no matter what the circumstances, I will never understand the notion of a dyno number as a "goal". It truly makes no sense whatsoever.

I understand it. For example, I figured out with how much my car weighs, that I would need 650rwhp to run in the 9s. So 650 would be my goal if I wanted to run the # at the track. As it turns out I am at 604 and have ran a 10.27, so the #'s can be useful.
By the way I am going to the PSCA event, temps look to be 92 degrees for Saturday, not great, but doable.
