BTW, where did you get that spark plug removal tool? I want to order one so next time if I get breakage it'll be easier to get them out. My uncle, who did my plugs, made his own tool similar to this but this would be easier and maybe quicker.

I want to get these damn two piece autolite HT1 plugs out though. We put them in last June. I'll go back with a one piece, like Champion maybe.

Damn, I want to do those LED's.....

It's easy, I think the longest part will be taking the door panels off...

Metric yes... But again, I don't think socket selection would dictate breakage of a weak designed plug seeing's how they weren't stripped just snapped in two.

Even if he did use the wrong size, waht does that have to due with the plugs breaking where they did? The breaks are a known problem with this style plug, hence the reason there are companies that make the special too for extracting them without pulling the head.

Well, that just might be why you broke all eight, the spark plugs are 9/16".

My mistake, yeah 9/16th is what is on the cart so that's what I was using...

Exactly but for some reason, he is stuck on that being the reason for the broken plugs. He posted that on another forum as well.. I dunno...
