My mistake, yeah 9/16th is what is on the cart so that's what I was using...
Exactly but for some reason, he is stuck on that being the reason for the broken plugs. He posted that on another forum as well.. I dunno...
To the guy talking about him using the wrong socket size=breakage, have you even been around the ford world lately? 05-08 f150 5.4s had the same problem, ford even had tsbs out for it. 05-08 mustang 4.6s same problem. Late model 08s got new style heads with 12mm one peice design so that wouldn't happen. Not trying to be an ass to you but where did you draw that conclusion from? If it was the wrong size socket wouldn't he had striped the head of the plug thus the whole plug would still be in the head?

I'm not making a big deal about it only offering some help for others who may see this thread and jump to conclusions about their plugs going to break. I understand they can break but it's very odd that all eight break. I have never seen all eight break. I've removed more plugs from 04-2008 F150s with the 5.4L 3V and 2005-2009 Mustang GTs than I want to count. Using the wrong socket will cause plugs to break because the socket is lose enough to put more stress on the plug. It's not going to break at the top simply because the force is being applied right at the base. Remove them with a metric socket and see if any break. In the end, it doesn't make a shit of a difference to me but I'm just trying to help others out since that's what the point of the forums are.![]()

Back on track with things...
Not much progress with company, but I did get the white gauges installed. Now I gotta get the damn needles lines up again, the damn things moved on me...
Put the blower and fuel rails on so that I could mock up and order the correct amount of fuel lines and fittings.

lookin good. which white face gauges did you get,i got some off ebay that turned out pretty nice. today im welding in a O2 bung next to my wideband bung so the tuner will have his own and i can compare the 2 readings to make sure mine is accurate. also changed out my turbine housing to a smaller one so it should spool quicker. id you get your headers finished?
