What WOT box are y'all using? Care to elaborate on them some? I did some reading elsewhere, but it was alot of ricers talking about them and not very tech(y). I like to understand how and why things work, so bring forth the tech!

I know you didn't ask but,
I have the WOT box for a while it's one of the more irritating things to wire due to you using the PCM directly and the different colors they used for different years. It cuts the ignition for mili-seconds at a time you set can set it through the device or through or labtop. Seemed to help alot with the shifts making what was a power shift almost seem smooth although you get a pop. when you shift at me and a few others did. I have never used mine with a turbo but hopwfully will soon.

What is a reputable brand for a WOT box? I know it cuts ignition, which is great for boosted cars (vs. cutting fuel), but how does it help keep boost through gears? I thought keeping a turbo spooled was based on load on a motor, and when you depress the clutch, for a split second in between shifts it has little load on it. Is it mainly useful in that it is able to help with powershifts?

The link posted above is the only dealer I know, that where I bought mine. It helps with boost drop off through the shifts when you are in boost and shifts your BOV goes and boost drops and then raises this prevents the drop off so you stay in boost longer.

Added fuel makes for more fuel still burning when the exhaust valve opens. Fuel burning with the exhaust valve open add's heat tot he exhaust which increases velocity. Bam! You have a bit more boost off the line. Also, cutting timing down add's a bit of load. Cutting timing is how most "No Lag" Systems work, like that of a rally car.

Alright Reische 170 degree t-stat is in! Greg got a great deal on buying multiple and it ended up costin $28.

I wasn't sure if it was going to help as much for my setup, but boy was i wrong! Since the stock one on my 07 is a 192, the 170 is a nice change. Dropped a good 5 degrees city driving and a solid 10-12 on the highway. I also noticed when coming up to speed from a stop the temps dropped noticeable faster too. Quite suprised and impressed, btw its almost 100 degrees today.

sitting idling hood open 182 ish. City driving never went above 200 and likes to hang out at around 198ish. And on the highway it quickly cooled down and settled at 190 and 5mins later was at 188.

These temps are cooler than what i recorded on an 88 degree day!

Last on the list to seal the deal is to add some watter wetter with a 75% water 25% coolant mix.
