Yea.. That's what was driving me crazy.. I thought there is no way it could be a tune issue after going through so many tuners.. it must be my F up somewhere.. but after building a new engine and most everything was new.. it just left the tune. So I hope people with this issue that have lived with it for a while now know not to give up and accept it.. Hammer that tuner to finish the job.. if they need to keep it over night then so be it.

I had the cold bogging issue, my JDM tune fixed that problem completely.

is it possible you have a bad sensor, temp sensor or something giving some false readings or fighting each other? see if there is a way to run a diagnostics on them, perhaps the ecm is getting some bad readings which is causing the tune to over react to an improper reading, maybe not a bad tune do you still have the parts car leftovers that maybe you could start swapping things one at a time to see if there is actually some other gremlin causing all the grief

from what I heard from someone that talked to tony after the last tune was a modified vortech tune?! haha I have not confirmed it yet.. but its sad if true.

part of what is wierd is that getting a tune for a procharged built motor isnt an anomaly, there have been plenty of other more challenging cars needing tunes, if you have/had another issue it could be sending your tuners through some unnecessary searching for issues, of course as we all know not just any idiot can tune a car, even though many claim to be able to, have you not been able to get a "new" tune or have all your tunes been modified versions?

this was the first time hearing a vortech tune on a procharger. haha.. Every place I have taken it for for new tune 500+ a pop. The sad thing is I dont think any of them drove the car after tuning, much less letting it sit for 3-4 hours and starting it. Tony had to fly back so we could not really do a cold start, but after 4 hours messing with my car and tuning they took it out. I think he told me he had another place to go so I will give him a few more days before I call him. My butt is sitting at home anyways doing nothing.. haha I'll ask him about that vortech tune though. They are both Centries so it might not matter too much.. but MAF and filter locations are diff, plus who knows what else.

My post was worthless and even thought I thought I had something of relevance to contribute I actually didn't.

its ok.. I just asked for something I knew would be heated subject of the past not be be brought up. Let them PM battle all they want.

I called Tony today and I guess someone was suppose to send the update tune. So we will see. I wish I didnt have this FPDM issue.. I already did the wire upgrade for it, but its not enough. I tried Tolsey ford? and they told me they have to sale the gt500 kit complete. (I just asked if I could get the thing without the pumps and fpdm(I have an extra one). so I'll have to work on that one later...

I went through and deleted the trash once from the thread and apparently that wasn't enough of a fucking hint because your other little Roper follower posted after the fact. So I deleted his post as well then you feel you are suddenly above and beyond the gawddamn rules and important enough to be able to post more bullshit.
