You did put new plugs in after removing and posting pictures of the f**ked ones right? You didn't have codes before pulling plugs etc... so go over what you did make sure coils are plugged back in correctly, etc....

Stock coils are still on the car. These codes seam to pop up if you try to drive the car when it's cold and/or bog the engine when it's warm. We had to run all around Lodi trying to find a plug for that number 8 cylinder and wound up getting a stock one from the Ford dealership (HT0s are still in the other cylinders). These codes (although rare) did pop up before driving yesterday.

Ahhhh I feel the love from the peanut gallery :)~ what is the right way the do a leak down? Michael did it at 75lbs and this other place did it at 9? Psi. They told me #4 is at 4% and 8 is @ 11%... All others are at 0. But in michael test he was abke to get a % or 2 from the other cylinders. Can I get away just re- tuning the car and race with the way things are????

I do leakdown test at 100 psi. That's just me....I use that amount as a constant. I would have the car tuned again by someone who knows what the hell they're doing...preferably with SCT software. Then, drive it for a while to see if you have any problems. If nothing jumps up to bite you.....then go to the track. HOWEVER.......I'd spike the gasoline you're buying with 100 octane unleaded when you're racing the car just to be safe.

Yeah...I know. "F*ck you and your gulf coast weather." We had a cold front come through yesterday. Right now it's 60 degrees. Brrrrrrr.

Did I read that you only replaced the bad plug? And you put an HT1 in that hole?
My first order of business would be to put a fresh set of HT0's in there gapped at .032.

^^^what he said^^^
No sense in creating more problems. Beg, borrow, steal, whatever. Someone around you has to have a HT0 laying around you can put in to that cylinder.

You need fresh plugs! Not just 1. All 8. I have a set of good used HT0's and a new set of Brisks here in Wheatland if you need them. Just don't do anything without a new set of plugs.
