I can't remember. Have you picked up much in the way of MPH vs the 3v motor? What kind of RPM are you seeing on the top end now?

I think he was already trapping like 121mph in the quarter with the 3v I think most of the ET dropped was from more weight reduction this time around

It was only 60lbs, he took out a bunch more, sound deadening, fuel tank replaced with fuel cell, etc

Thanks everyone one. My car weighed 3210 with me in it when I had the 3 Valve running 11.1's 11.2's.I did alot of weight reduction to componsate for that roll bar etc.On paper I thought I was going to be lighter but... 3190 was my offical weight on the scales last weekend. I still have to do the rear drag brakes and a few small things for another 30-50lbs.

I had the big 28x10.5 slicks on the 3 valve combo that yanked the wheels in the air. I wanted to run the small 26x10 pure street tire with the new combo. I am spinning the wheels a few rorations on the small tire. But I was also launching the car at 7100-7200 with my just holding the rpms there with no 2 step what so ever. (That's making 420hp at that roms where my old 3 valve I wouldlaunchat 6500 380ish at that rpm) Once MSD gets one out to me I will try the 63-6700launches to try and get these 26's to work better.

Like many said it's the first few passes on the new combo so I plan on dropping 2-3 tenths next time I go to the track. Muscle mustangs put 3 go pro cams on my car including one inside.I hope they put that video up

He is making about the same HP as he was before, just now with the 5.0
I guess since the weight hasnt decreased too much between the 4.6 setup and 5.0 setup most of his ET has changed by the different powerband of the 5.0 compared to the 4.6 then.
