I am not trying to argue, I am being dead serious: Please explain your statement. I have always thought, 2V<3V<4V. I am not trolling you, I am just wanting to know/learn.

The number of fast 2v's is greater than the number of fast 3v's. I just the other day I saw a 9.0 street trim 2v.

Lets see, my 2v w/ DR's, CAI, Pullies and Tune barely broke into the 13's. My 3v which weighs more, same mods. 12.8. I don't know. Sounds faster to me

urdum

Wait, are you also saying a Turbo would make you faster than a 3v? Well no fucking shit. Put heads, cams, intake and a turbo on a 3v. 2v still faster?

Again, you simple minded people crack me up. No one cares about what your bolt on car does.

Coyote > ALL

Well, 4v (in general) > *

The 4V is damn good, especially since it encompasses IMO Fords best engine the Ford GT 5.4. But I think that there may be a few engine families....BBF, BBC, LSx that may definitely give the 4V a run for its money.

Your the DA saying an equal mod 2v is the same as an equal mod 3v.

Negative. I'm saying 2v>3v, no matter what you do.

Well, I was talking about small blocks. Yeah, the big boys are better from both companies. However, the fastest 4v is faster than the fastest LSX.

No, he said an equal 3V, meaning same mods.

That is why I asked my question. Everything I have ever seen or read, the 3V has always came out on top(numbers wise) , bolt on for bolt on. I know a few guys on here have hit 400rwhp with a N/A 3V, but I have don't think I have ever seen a 2V do that(but I could be wrong).

But just because there are more fast 2Vs running around doesn't mean it is a better platform. That is like saying I have seen more fast Stangs than I have Z06s. That doesn't mean anything. I have also seen 9 sec 3Vs in street trim.

The numbers you speak of are dyno numbers I'm assuming. I don't go by that. It's no point in talking about what a modular motor will do N/A, because they will never be fast.

Get with the times. 2v>3v, 4v>all. 2 valves are a much better motor.

The fastest LSx isn't far behind....and most of the 4V's are nowhere close to Jon Mihovetz. But I agree BBF or BBC still > small block. Not many big cube LSx builds at this point really chasing the records. N/A for N/A though the LSx kills the mod motors...its not even close. LS1's were doing 500 rwhp N/A how many years ago?

WOW,dont really give a shit about what your arguing about, but this part right here just cracked me up. In other words this statement translated is:

The number of people putting money into 2v's > The number of people putting money into 3v's.

Your rationalization skills are EPIC!LOL

are you talking about a modular 2v or are you talking about a 302 based motor? because if you're talking about a pushrod ford, then i agree with you. otherwise, no modular 4.6 2v that i've ever seen has ran better times (or dyno #s) then a modular 4.6 3v, mod for mod.

2v's are faster and had better blocks. Good heads, cams, intake, and turbo and you will be faster than the equal 3v.

:bsflag:

So Ford added the extra valve for shits and giggles then? What are you basing your claims on?

Didn't this thread start as the 3v intake Vs. the Boss intake?

And now it's 3 pages of shit-throwing about different motors? WTF...

Well, the argument is the reason it took so long is because the 3v is a crappy motor. So we need him to back up that claim with proof, which he's given none.

They tried it and it failed miserably. I shouldn't even be talking to you about this as you are WAY to slow to understand.

Seriously why do you guys waste your time on stuff like this. Just ignore the thread and move on. Who cares.
