Wondering if the '15 5.0 fuel pump is any better-flowing than the 11-14 unit, and if it might work in a '11-14 5.0 boosted application instead of using a boost-a-pump or returnless fuel system.

Anybody have a clue?

I suspect it may be, its made 950rwhp with a 21volt bap supposively. It is a different part number, haven't seen a break down of it yet. When you can make 600rwhp on the stock fuel pump there's not much to do but add a bap or go return and there isn't room for two pumps on the coyote hats.

Not a fan of BAPs, and I'm at about 96% fuel pump duty cycle now, I'd like more room than that and I'd like to add a bit more power.
My stock pump is done at my current level, and if there's a drop-in Ford pump, I'd prefer to do that

You know, I thought the same thing. I just got done with a round of mods and a BAP was one of them. If it is wired up PRE FPDM(s) with the output switch wired together to run at max voltage all the time it seems to be fantastic both on the tunning side and pump reliability side as the FPDM is only going to use what it needs, like the stock system.

I am a fan of BAPs personally, especially in a return system where they can actually save your ass when Voltage is dropping on a faulty electrical system/alternator.

Just felt it should be pointed out that it didn't make 950, it was more like 800 once you take the huge correction factor away.. still, not bad, but don't think the stock pump will support 950.

Well it was from BBR's tuning/dyno, so I don't put too much faith in it lol

Had the scare of a lifetime when my alternator died a few weeks back, not a good situation.

Damn, I'm late to the party, came here to say that. Kind of irresponsible of them to say a car makes 950 when it is only making 80% of that or less. People will be pissed if they try to recreate that and pistons burn up or start swapping holes.
