Terry that sounds awesome and 23 mpg unreal so I have just one question...will this make an appearance at ford Nationals at Carlisle next spring
James,

Just have to wait and see on that.
I have been there to Carlisle for the Ford event.
It was pretty darn awesome. :nixon:

I don't know if I will do that if it's just me driving to it and back home by myself.
That makes for a very long trip going and coming with no one in another Mustang traveling with you.

Plus it's nice to have another Mustang or more traveling if anything were to happen.
Just adds some added security to one's mind IMO if needed or not.

Had a Cool visit this past weekend guys ...

Guys,

Had a really nice "Surprise" visit this past weekend.

My brother and his wife Diana came this past Saturday for the weekend.
And he drove that New 2016 Z-06 Bright Red Vette down.

I guess he figured if Bobby & I could drive my Bullitt up the 2nd day I got it back he could surely drive that new Vette down.

We did remember to take some pictures while they were here.

How often is it you see two Machines like these in the same garage.

And his Vette sounds totally Bad-Ass guys when Fired-Up !!!

Matt,

They will come here to the house and do the change or up-grade from the 6-rib to the new 8-rib. :highfive:

James,

Actually if I were to state things as I think they are it would go like the following.
Brent (Brenspeed Owner) and I are maybe not like real honest to goodness buddies.
I say that simply because of Age spread as well as the distance between where we both are located.
But, I suppose for a business relationship we are okay with one another.
I think Brent has done alright by me over the past 7-yrs or so.
It's not all been roses but for the majority of time it's been okay.
As you read on this thread he and George did come down and deliver the Mustang to me some weeks ago.
They hung out at the house and enjoyed seeing & hearing several things in the custom home theater.
This past week Brent said he is going to send George and Garrett down to do do the new 8-rib pulley set-up on mine.
So that to me says Brent & I as I said above are not like real hang-out-buddies but we are A-OK business wise..
But that being said he sure does go the extra-mile to take care of business between us.
And since he is willing to do what he volunteer does with No-Prompting at all from me.
I then make sure that all cost associated with traveling to me and back to BRENSPEED are totally covered.
Like Gas, Food, Hotel etc. expenses.
The way I see it if a person does right by you then don't take that person or business for granted.
And I make damn sure from this end Brent is always taken care of monetarily speaking and my sincere thanks obviously.

It's worked out really well for both of us over the 7-plus yrs. as far as I can tell.

Thats pretty awesome. I don't even want to think about what Brenspeed charges for house calls though.
:GetMoney:

Terry's got some heavily-used knee pads, if that answers part of your question ;)

Matt,

Hey you know I could post some crazy ass bull-shit reply.

But I think I'll do the opposite and post a factual reply as I see it from this end.

Brent has Not 1-Time ask me for any monies at all for Delivering my Mustang or sending George & Garrett down to install the new 8-rib serpentine set-up.
Bet that surprises some people but like I said I have decided to actually tell it like it really is.

And based on what I just said above is exactly why I do the things I decide on this end for Brent/Brenspeed.
And I think it would be rather obvious that certainly does include monies plus all associated cost in coming here (Franklin, TN) and back to Pierceton, IN.
It's not that I have to do any of what I do I just think when an owner of a business takes care of you it's the right thing to do in return if you can.
And fortunately I happen to be in the position at 70-yrs. old to do whatever I feel like is appropriate.

I'll also share this with you Matt and anyone else that reads this thread.
I've been "Fucked" by the best over the past 70-years and messing with cars.

I have yet to be screwed by Brent/Brenspeed and have been dealing with him since 2008.
So I can't say enough nice things really about how I personally have been treated as a person or my Mustang.
No shop or person always does a perfect job IMO.
The thing to me that is most important is what takes place when something does go Badly-Wrong !!!
Brent always has stepped right up to the bat and handled things in a professional manner and I did not ever have to ask or threaten him.

Terry's got some heavily-used knee pads, if that answers part of your question ;)

Gabe,

You have such a way with words dawg ...

Well we all know that there is no such thing as a perfect shop.
But Brenspeed does seem to care and when something does go wrong they take care of it.
That's what's important to me and I think the majority of people.

Guys,

Here is the latest on the new BRENSPEED 8-Rib set-up.

Just heard from Brent this am and he is sending George & Garrett down next Tuesday, Oct. 27th.

They will leave Pierceton, IN. really early and get here that afternoon.
Rest for a bit and maybe do the lunch thing.
Then they will change over my stock 6-rib serpentine belt system to the new 8-rib system.

Man next week will be here before we know it and good things will be taking place.

I didn't mean to offend terry and I just was impressed that they are going to make a house call I wish I knew a shop that would do stuff like that for me on my projects and I think it's pretty cool that they hung out for a beverage when they delivered the car to you

James,

In all the years I have been messing with car stuff Brent is the only person that has done such a thing for me.

I don't think there are many small performance shops that do that sort of thing IMO.

I did not take it that you were being a smart-ass or anything negative at all.
I just thought it was appropriate that I explain some the business relationship between Brent/Brenspeed and I.

Sorry about the late response as I just now saw your post.

Tomorrow Oct. 27th, 2015 is the day ...

Guys,

Just got a call from BRENSPEED up North this morning.

George and Garrett will be heading out from BRENSPEED around 7am which is 6am my time.

So they will be showing up early afternoon and then after a short break from driving they will begin doing their thing.

George and I discussed it and while both of them are here anyway they are also going to do some maintenance.

The usual things like New Racing-Spark-Plugs, OEM Gas-Filter, and of course the New Brenspeed Serpentine 8-Rib Conversion Kit.

I did my thing on this end like,
Reserved their room at
Comfort Inn.

When they get done with the Mustang time to Relax and watch a few movies.

And you just cannot have the guys down without
having their choice Cold Brew on hand.

And the accompanying snacks of course.

The Mustang is ready for the guys to do their thing tomorrow afternoon.

James,

Hey buddy I use to stock a variety of beer in that little fridge.
Soon found out that guys usually for the most part only drink certain beer and they stick to that brand.
So as I got the stock drank I decided to make it easier on myself and those visiting.
I simply ask, (Say what BEER do you "Prefer") ???
Man that's worked out a heck of a lot better.

George & Garrett should be here probably in an hour or so to do their thing.

It's pouring rain today and a 100% chance for all day. :mad2:

No-Worries though the Mustang is already parked at an angle so they have lots of room to work on it.
