So I mean as most know...dyno numbers are just numbers..and dyno tunes aren't really all that a email tune could do just as good as long as data logging is on point

With that said I'm tryna make some of these guys understand that off just hotrod cams/full exhaust (Longtubes/Xpipe/axle backs)...you will not get nearly 400hp

But they are head stuck on that just because it dynoed 373hp...of just cams and exhaust

The topic came up wen I posted a pic of a 10' 3v pushing 400hp off-frpp intake, frpp-hotrods, cai, tb, dyno tuned

So then this guy says his 10' 3v made 373 hp...off just cams and exhaust...iv always seen most guys on here say that it's pretty hard to achieve 350hp on just bolt ons

Don't care, what does it do on the strip? and what does it trap is what matters.
You can make a dyno read anything, they are best used to compare changes on the same dyno.

I have full bolt on's and hot rod cams and make 335 to the wheels.
350+ going to need some head work, maybe heads and a bigger cam.

I dont drag race, so, no numbers there...
But with full bolt ons, hot rod cams, I'm at 340 to the wheels, Ken Bjones tuned and dyno'd.
Take it for what its worth.

SMH. Don't do any testing on the street at all. No speed runs, nothing. If you want to test go to an autox or drag strip. Don't be a foolish. Who is they by the way? I also don't understand your original post/question.

I think he wants confirmation that some guy's 3V isn't making 375 rwhp from cams and exhaust. He wants to know this so he knows what to expect when he races the guy, on the street.

Or something.

No, the guy isn't making 375 on cams and exhaust in a 3V. No, we don't support street racing here.

Srry guys once again and means a lot that most of yall can come proper and not just bash

And yes that was my question a guy I know says he made 373hp off just cams and exhaust...just because he has a 10' 3v

The 10' 3v is basically a Bullit it came stock with cai, higher rev

JeremyH don't act like you can't read bro I clearly spell everything correctly it's not hard to read spaced out sentences if you have trouble reading then don't be a smart ass to me

I just can't wait to drag his ass at the track he says that he has yet to lose to 05-09 3v

The post started on my Facebook wen I posted a screen shot of a dyno of a 10' 3v putting down 402rwhp...off hotrods, cai,tb,frpp intake

And he went on saying those numbers are correct since his cam/exhaust only made 373hp....which I knew was bs lol I mean seriously iv been reading on these cars for a few yes and everyone mentions 350hp is hard to get to on just bolt ons with out port work and a serious tune

My car with full bolt ons (long tubes as well but stock cams) made 320whp.

He's blowing smoke up your ass.

First, please attempt to use proper english. I think most of us here have difficulty reading your posts with the "yall can come proper" stuff mixed in. Also proper punctuation helps with reading your sentences. I am not the grammar police but your posts are hard to read because of the lack of a sentence break or period.

Second, if you actually have been doing your research "iv been reading on these cars for a few yes" (I assume you mean YEARS) you would know the core of the 05-10 engines are pretty much identical internally. So who cares what this other guy i saying because it is wrong. The only real variation in power in the naturally aspirated 05-10 years is the regular Shelby GT with the FRPP/Steeda intake and tune, the 08-09 Bullitt, and the 10 GT with the improved air box and revised tune from the factory. All of which are identical motors internally save for the head revision in late december of 07' and a few other small things (phaser revision, elimination of the sensor in the oil pan that is in the 05-06 motors and not the 07's, the intake/CMP change, valve cover bolt reduction from early motors etc) but those don't really affect power ratings.

I don't think with the long list of bolt ons that something close to 400HP at the crank is impossible. So just wait until you get to the track and run him and see what you run. Bench racing is lame.

Just trying to figure out what the hell this thread was about as it was really hard to follow your posts. Anyone that's not an idiot knows what a 3v is capable of, people inflate numbers and make up shit all the time, don't get bent out of shape about it. Just be content that who ever your talking is an idiot and move along. I have no knowledge of your other thread. Bro.
