I would rather have an 09 STi than a 2010 mustang.... and that's cause the 09 STi is kind of an eye sore compared to the others. lol. but that motor might find it's way into my car in about a year...

I don't know how you could get a 4V aluminum engine to weigh less than a 3V aluminum engine, but kudos to Ford if they pull it off.

Will the 2011 come with a 5spd manual or 6spd manual tranny

not sure if that's the same motor. the 5.0 cammer had been out for a good while, when it first came out I remember reading about a lot of problems with it. Now I guess they got it right, however IIRC the manifold looks different on that one compared to the leaked shot of the 5.0 2011 that came out a while back.

Now, feedback people. I need to decide on this new motor or a Livernios 298 stroker in the next two years. A new motor is going to be a graduation present to myself. :beerdrink:

I hope they do release that combo. I will really enjoy kicking its ass at the track next year! :beerdrink:

I say 298 stroker motor

more than likely you will find far more potential in the Livernois unit than the Ford motor(stock)

Yeah, true. That's what I was thinking. And not to mention the bonus of a forged rotating assembly and it would more than likely end up costing the same, if not less than the 5.0 coyote, Which I'm almost positive won't be forged..

I'm still trying to decide what I'm going to do when I come back from my deployment. FI or N/A mods
