Here is a good article on camshafts:

I'll be installing them next week.

i like brenspeed. but that makes me laugh. i wont put a set of cams in my car unless i know the specs before hand. and if someone has the ability to grind copies of their cams, im sure they are capable of measuring one of their cams lol.

LOL, Brenspeed is gonna be pissed that comp's cust service gave out their super secret specs!!!:roflmao:

I've bought stuff from Brenspeed and agree they're a great shop to deal with, but not telling customers the specs of the cams they're installing in their cars is kinda retarded. If a competitor REALLY wants the specs they will have them easily. Anyone ever hear of a cam doctor?

Got one. :naughty1:

And on a professional level......this is precisely why I don't have Comp grind a proprietary camshaft design for me. Dumb fuckers will tell anyone that calls pretty much whatever they ask for.

Yeah they might be pissed, but at the same time brenspeed should make it available to customers so they can know wtf they are buying and if that cam is right for their application. Every other cam has their specs listed out so you can see if its right for you, i think brenspeed just didnt want people getting a tune elsewhere so they think if they hold out on specs you will get a tune from them

Wont be long before other tuners get brenspeeds cams on their dynos and learn to tune them. Competition is great.....we all get better products at a competitive price. :thumb2:

These are specific for S/C cars? I didn't realize they had N/A and S/C design.

And you are in Y-town? I'm always there...

Yes, these are for a S/C. They have both types now, check Brenspeed's website. Today the car is at Rocket Performance of Yorktown. The cams are now installed and tomorrow we go on the dyno.
