cam question

I have an 05 gt that I just recently installed FRPP hot rod cams. Got it tuned and it runs great. But when I first start it after it sits for a long time (over night), it revs up to about 3500 rpmfor about 10-15 sec and slowly idles down. Has anyone had this problem? And if so, how did you fix it? Thanks in advance for any help.

That happened with my 127500s. I got a new tune from a different tuner.

Whats to fix? The tuner raised the coldstart rpm.

If it's bothering you, just get your tuner to adjust it down to Aabout 2000rpm's

Its probably due to the changed idle air requirements. The ecu doesn't have the correct parameters at start up for the cams and a surge is the result.

I had the same problem. I got rid of my american muscle tune and went to lund

Thanks for all the help. Just wasn't sure if something was wrong. I'll talk to my tuner and see what he can do.
