The car is a bit of a Frankenstein: 2007 Mustang GT, 2012 F150 5.0 Coyote motor, 2011 Mustang pcm and a Coyote crate motor tune. Car runs great, I get a ck fuel cap message and a P0460 (fuel level sensor circ). I never get an evap code. Is it possible to get a tune so the pcm doesn't look at the fuel level sensor and I'm assuming the evap system is doing some kind of ck for a fuel cap but I want this deleted ?

Nope, don't think so. Not according to Lito or Lund.

Yes the evap/cap stuff can be shut off in the tune. What gas tank/fuel pump level sender do you have? If you have a 2011 pcm and 05-09 level sender you will need to swap both level senders on each side to 2010 style its the correct resistance reading for that pcm.

I'm using a control pack tune and all the evap stuff is shut off already. The cap message is still there. I've talked to a few people who have deleted the evap stuff on 3V cars and didn't get the message. Even with evap working properly on the swap he did, Manuel wasn't able to get the cap message to go away.

Do you have a part number for the senders?

That's good to know. I have the 07 tank, senders and a Walbro pump. My gas gauge works well but if the later model senders are a different resistance then it might change my IC fuel gauge so I think I might be better off just turning off the fuel level sensor in the tune also. Any idea who can send me a tune eliminating the fuel cap message and the fuel level sensor ?

Both Lund and Lito were able shut the P0460 off, but no luck with the fuel cap message.

I'm not sure that the control pack tune totally turns off the evap equipment, I've noticed right when the ck fuel cap message comes on, the engine sounds different like it takes a gulp of air, like the purge solenoid opens for a second.
