i have heard of people making the hole on the bottom side of the tranny bigger so they can see up there and see the clutch.

One quick way to check, is to place PP's face down on a flat surface, side by side. Take ruler and lay it across the fingers of the PP's were TB contacts them, and see if level. New PP should be shorter and you can use spacers to level out.

That makes sense I never though about the pp finger design differences.
So a washer on each bolt between the slave mount and bellhousing will suffice?

Since the TB base is Alu, i would use a proper shim. Using washers with that amount of pressure could break the TB mount

Welp I got it together guys. I sure would have hated to be the first guy to try to put a 6spd into a gt. I don't beleive I could have done it without the information on here. I do notice a common problem between 3650/rst to the 6060/rxt. The wheels want to turn when trying to put it into gear from a dead stop. I am still up on jack stands so when I put a little pressure on the park brake the wheels don't move. With the 3650/rst car on the ground it would try to move the whole car even when going from N into 2nd. I am thinking a very very small shim would be a good idea. BUT, DAMN this 6060 shifts like BUTTER! so smooth, like its already got 1000000 miles on it. GOOD luck Jermey I hope yours gets back together.

So yours works? WTF!!!!!!!!! I have the exact same setup, except rst disc instead of rxt discs inside the clutch.

More infomation, also noted that now the cruise doesn't work and I am guessing that the speedo is off too.

Yes you can buy them at jegs, if you ordered now you could get them Tuesday, or try Speed shop in your area.

Yup sure does. Dude that .74 and .50 overdrive gears is the shit. Car hardly turning 1200rpm @80 assuming the speedo is close. Thats with a 4.30 rear gear :)

Sounds like you need a shim also. My 6060 works like a dream. No movement with clutch out, or in Neutral. Ram clutch w/1/8 shim

How is your first gear with 4:30's, I have 4:10's and it feels the way it did with the 3:55's. So i am thinking 4:30, or 4:56
