Iirc roots makes boost all the time too they just dont compress the boost like a TS they just push it or move it

Roots blowers move air, but never compress air (internally). Twin compress air internally as part of the process of moving the air. This means a twin screw will always have higher AIT's vs an equally sized roots blower while cruising or at part throttle.
