frpp k springs installed but...

the left rear is lower than the right rear. L/R 27 5/8 and R/R 27 7/8 with the correct tire pressure. I installed the springs last year of december and today is the first time I drove it. Do the springs need to settle? hmm I was drinking some midnight moon when I did my suspension, now I'm doubting my install.

1/4" difference could be many things. Rear end might have pushed, defective spring, failing strut...

Did you measure it on flat ground?

Yup measured on a flat surface, I also followed that link above to install the springs. The fronts are good, I'll drive it around some more and see what happens.

Couldn't this be caused by not having or a bad rubber seat for the spring?

dont know if it would make a difference in this, but did u measure wheel to fender and see if its equal that way? did u use an adjustable panhard bar?

Could you of miss-aligned the coil in the rubber pad causing one side to sit higher then the other?

Did the part numbers match on both rear springs?

Mine sit the same...and I went through all these possibilities just to learn to live with it.

I had the car up on the lift today at work and drop the rear to take the springs off. Both springs appear to be the same length and I looked under the body where the spring goes and seems normal, no spring seats missing. Put the springs back on and drove it around and measured the rear again and seems to be close enough for government work! the r/r is about 1/16th higher than the l/r, can barely notice it unless I go tape measure crazy but it's all good! btw I have an Edelbrock phb which is a very nice phb.

You could try switching the rears side to side and see if it makes a slight difference. Same for the front but a lot more work. If nothing changes I'd assume the springs are quite even and the car's mounting is slightly off.

I know my car has sat crooked right from the day I bought it with 5000 miles on it. It leans left a bit.
