Any know about what HP the ID 1000 injectors max out at on E85? We are making a few changes to the car, and I am worried the injectors may max out, and would prefer to order them now if I am going to need them.

I am not sure what the duty cycle is now on the ID 1000's I am using (assuming duty cycle is the correct term), but I should be 800+rwhp in a few weeks once the upgrades are done.

Depends on the lower added and tranny. We've done 1000rwhp w a stick w head room. Blower, less, non lock up converter, less, etc

we have made as much as 1000, but that is pushing it, if you think you may be pushing close to the 1k mark, I'd lean toward the 1300s

FYI car has a single turbo.
adding 7-8lbs of boost (20psi total)
Power glide trans with locking convertor

I don't think I will be any where near 1000rwhp, I'm 666rwhp now at 13psi

Depends on base pressure and boost level etc. I maxed mine out around 20psi and 800rwhp at a 40psi base pressure.

Thanks for the info, sounds like I should at least save some cash for new injectors just to be safe.

Why does the transmission affect the duty cycle of the injectors? Or are you saying that the WHP is different because of drivetrain losses?
