I had Brenspeed e-mail an update to my tune for a C&L racer CAI.

swapped the intake and tune and now the engine just cranks over and doesn't start, like it's not getting any ing.

The best part I'm leaving with the car tomorrow for new orleans for a mustang meet. why does this crap always happen to me?

battery is fine. engine spins over very strong. MAF is plugged in.

Its not that big of a deal. If you can't get it to work just go back to stock.

If all else fails go back to stock tuning or just use the canned tune. you shuold be fine setting it with your mods. Not entirely sure on the BBK TB, but It should still work. Best of luck bro.

the TB would just put it in safe mode. nothing with the starting. reflash to stock. ur not running anything huge so ull be fine.

Read the strategy code with your tuner and make sure the Brenspeed tune is for that code. If he sent you a tune with the incorrect code your fucked and you will have to get Ford to reflash the computer.

yes thanks everyone. Wes@TPS wrote me a tune at midnight. and the car is much stronger with his tune. I don't know what brenspeed did. the strategy was the same.

I was going to have WES tune the car anyway. so now all I have to do is get it on the dyno and let him fine tune.

I didn't want to run the car on the stock tune as I have no cats and delete plates on the car.

But it's all good, the car drove great to and from new orleans this weekend.

Flash to stock then reload the tune. If it still doesn't start, press the gas all the way in for a few seconds while starting it. This will set the engine into flooded mode.. if the engine is flooded it will crank but not start. After a few seconds, release the gas and try to start normally. If you have any black smoke out the back this will be normal, and will pass in a few seconds.
