Now that is awesome! Hope you hit your goal, can't wait to see it running. I'm about 3 weeks out from my build. I'll have a nice thread going once it's under the knife.

I had this kit on the 2013 that I totaled, and will now be putting it on the 2014. I have yet to do it on an auto but hear it's just one extra hose to run. I'll post pics as always.

Nope, you have to cut into and splice the two tranny lines coming off the radiator....so once you cut/splice those 2 tranny lines you are going to have to figure something out when you remove it/go back to stock and those tranny lines are a hybrid line, rubber to metal.

Those of you running this kit. Going through everything now and I think I may of been left out the air breather for the bypass valve. First I went through the kit, it's all laid out on my floor. Then I installed the DVD to read through the PDF file. Just got to the part about the breather and I don't see that anywhere? It wasn't in the box with the valve? Do they not include it anymore? 2 more questions. The chrome 90* pipe that's used for relocating one of the coolent lines has a good size dent in it right at the outside of the bend. Looking at the directions you can't tell but is this for clearance or did mine get the dent from shipping? Lastly my s/c bracket isn't assembled, the directions say to "inspect your assembled bracket" then the next page or so is the exploded view. Not a big deal but it's kinda confusing. I'm tired, been up all night working lol.

The breather for the bypass.. If I am missing it and it's supposed to come with this kit, where in the packing was it located so I can triple check what I've already double checked lol. Thanks for all the help, I've been through this thread 3 times now start to finish. When I have everything all set and ready to tear into my build expect a huge thread full of pictures and step by step along with my other mods. :)

Cheers

The breather should have been in the kit. I'm not positive where it is in the packaging, but it isn't hard to find. Sounds like they left yours out. It isn't really necessary, but if you want it, I'm sure Paxton would ship another. The bend is normal. Not too sure why though.

find the breather?

No I'm positive it's not here. Everything was packaged nicely to. As soon as I got to that part on the PDF I was like oh snap I don't remember seeing that. So I looked again and just kinda scratched my head. I sent paxton an email asking if it's needed. I'm not upset or anything, I don't even really see what it's for. It looks like it filters the blow off which I don't understand. Wouldn't that slow the air a little?!

UPDATE*

Just got an email back from paxton with the packing number the breather was supposed to be in.. Tripped checked that package and it was stuck inside one of the intercooler couplers ... Man I feel dumb now haha :chairfall:

When I laid everything out I didn't open every bag because I didn't want to loose anything. I thought that was just a bag of couplers, not realizing it was inside one of them. Whoops. Lol

If you have an extra hand have them start assembling the bracket now. Its pretty time consuming.

I'll get to it, I'm in no rush on the build. I get my DD back on Wednesday from the body shop so the mustang is going back into the garage. I'm taking it to ford the next week to look into a miss fire issue, and transmission issues. The car is a 2011 but it only has 19,000 miles on it so it's still covered on the power train warranty. It's fully stock except the flowmaster cat back.

Once I get the car back from ford. I'll be spending the next 1-2 weeks going over a few things, building the bracket, making sure I have all the tools, greases, cleaners, fluids, and parts I need. Then the build begins. I'll be taking my time chipping away one weekend at a time by myself. I'm very meticulous, so if it takes someone 10 hours that's going to take me double probably. Not only that but I have a ton of other bolt-ons going on the car including gauges. So I'll be taking my time soldering and heat shrinking the wires. I want a nice clean install. By the time I'm done the weather should be good enough that we will have a break here and there so I can start the logs with Lund racing. Wooo
