I've been in the retail industry for over 30 years working for a mass merchandise, deep discount organization that has success selling upscale merchandise.

You have been looking for a get even with Sharad ...maybe this would be the time to refer him to UPR ??

I missed this post. roflmao!

I would, but the only problem with that is that they don't offer A-Arms.

I figured it out. The original email came from upr. theyre trying to find out the lowest price that bmr can sell the a arms, then theyre going to copy the ones kelly sends, and then sell them for less.

roflmao! This is great.

And BTW, that quote of me wasn't what I said - so no one gets it confused. I did not start selling upscale merchandise when I was 2 years old. ;)

I am in commercial sales now for the last 14 years, but I sold new cars for 10 years before that. There were a bunch of people that I didn't want as a customer. When I first started the old timers said "your happiest customers pay the most profit." I thought that had to be wrong, until experience stepped in. Turns out a guy that knows everyone has to make a living is a generally happy person. The chiseling nickledick that beats every fucking dime out of you bitches about everything. He ends up being a service nightmare and then he never paid profit in the first place. If your fucking idiot, by the grace of God, bought your control arms, he would install them upside down and then tell the world of the internet that yours parts don't fit. You are so much better off without this tool.

Yeah, or say that the holes don't line up and one must be too short. Then 5 pages of discussion about how to move the axle around with a 2x4 or ratchet strap. "Looks like BMR control arms length tolerance is like 1"... better order the steeda stuff."

Kelly tell him to start a business requiring r&d, manufacturing etc and call u back. It's guys like this that sell high end purses online that think they know what you are worth.

Tell him you will give him five bucks to eat a dick.

So I had a potential customer call me today.

It went like this

"Hi Kelly, can you put me on the line with your product engineer?"

ME: "Um, well, honestly - I know everything you need to know about any of our components. Is there something specific you would like to know?"

"I am looking to replace my worn Front Lower Control arms, and I would like to know some specifications on the materials that you use"

ME: "They are made from " " " " " " " " " " " " " " " " " " and " " " " " " " " " and they " " " " " " " ". Is there something else you would like to know about them?"

"Well, those sound nice. Is it of your opinion that your arms are worth the additional price, for what I will gain in product quality and performance?"

ME: "I gotta ask - does your name happen to be Bxxx Cxxxxxx?"

"-----------------pause---------, well no. I am just calling to ask about your components and I do not see what my name has to do with the questions I am asking"

ME: "Well I believe I have informed you as much as I possibly can about our product. If there is nothing else you would like to know, would you like to place an order for them? We have them in stock and ready to ship."

"I think I will go with the Ford Racing Arms.........click"

Is this my guy?

Man fuck that guy

I think I'll order some relocation brackets soon. Also that new jacking rail cause on air is hard to get to any good points. Lol

Side note do the rails stick below the pinch weld or are they about the same

If the dingus wants the arms so bad that he has to send a million emails and make phone calls asking WAT LCA IZ GUD, he should just order them and stop wasting everyones time. I wonder if he even wants to buy them or just waste as much time as he can asking for the engineer and going back and forth with you.

Well - good points.

So good that, I would like you to swing by tomorrow and chat whenever you can.

I need a change. I'll take over the 2010+Camaro stuff, and the new fox stuff we have coming - and you take the S197.

See ya tomorrow.:waytogo:
