Agreed.
Best part is they did it with a manual trans!
YUP!!
I would much rather see a slightly slower clutch time vs a faster auto time.

Thanks guys, we really appreciate the compliments.
The trans setup is pretty simple and straight forward, we retained the McLeod hyd release bearing. The McLeod RST clutch and bearing setup work great together and makes for easy shifting. A Liberty Tremec TKO 600 makes life easier also.
Jon Lund did give us a hand at the last minute before our last event and I'm very appreciative of his help. He is a smart guy and has access to some parameters that basically no one else has or that are not in the average tuning software. We had the car running great with the standard GT processor but when we switched to a special processor, some parameters could not be manipulated, specific to our vehicle setup. We have worked with Jon in the past and he has always been very helpful when we have run into issues outside of parameters we have access to.
Not taking anything away from my main man Kevin, who had and has put in many long nights getting the car to start, run, drive and make some killer hp, with a completely outside the box engine combo. Outside the box at this point in the evolution of the Coyote engine anyway. On top of that, congrats to him for running a 9.08@148+ in his stock 3V longblock, twin turbo Fox coupe, this past weekend! The 8's will be here soon enough my friend!
I also wanted to thank Rich Groh of RGR for making us a bad ass engine, if you have a Coyote and want to make some HP, he's your guy! We work well together and he always delivers.
The guys here at JPC also put one helluva car together, but we aren't finished, we are juuuuuuuust getting started, so stay tuned........

I enjoy seeing shops push the envelope Justin. Great to see you guys pushing (or beginning to) the limits of these newer engines.
MY question....are you ever going to put together a 3V N/A car that goes well into the 10's, or are you going to make me do it?![]()
