Wasnt expecting it at all the guy from MM&FF walks up in the pits and says he would like to shoot the car for a feature and said he would like to shoot in the next day at 6:30 am. He then came back and asked if I would rather do it today before sundown. I replied yes, and he said okay I'll be back in 15 minutes.
Thats awesome...car deserves it.:thumb:

Thanks for the props guys.

Here are a few videos.

Pass 1 at 139.20

Pass 2 car bogged really bad and went full rich on the take off. Should be able to post more on the cause and post more on that tomorrow.

Pass 3 10.37 @ 136.9 mph

On pass 3, listen to the blower sound. Sounds like a bearing is going. I have been leaking some oil from the rear seal and that may be the bogging issue as the MAF had a lot of oil on it from the blower. I may need to rebuild the blower and install a brace to keep the tension from the 12 rib setup from damaging the blower. I will know more on this issue tomorrow though.

Got the blower tore down to the part where the output shaft needs to be pressed out of the blade. I will run it by the shop tomorrow and press it out. The small front bearing on the output shaft is shot and that is what was making the noise. The front seal was leaking just a tad and the rear was leaking quite a bit. I broke one of the SS screws that holds the bearing insert you see in the second pic. I feel the IC piping from the blower to the TB should be cleaned along with the new IC and TB. Here are some pics of my progress so far.

Good luck man! How many miles is on the F1?

Maybe 5k. I'm going to look for some better bearing to go back. Maybe some ceramic units or something like that. I'm only going to replace the front smaller bearing on the output side. The larger rear bearing on the out put shaft appears to be ok as do all the others. I am going due some research on the bearing rating first though.

ok, not that many miles to need rebuilding already is it?
No it is not many miles at all. This a single bearing failure and probably contributed to the seal going.

I have been searching for an hour and cannot find a speed rating on the bearing I have. This the part number if anyone has a way to check the max rpm or speed rating.

It is a FAFNIR 7203w bearing.

Not exactly what you are asking but a source for F1 bearings steel and ceramic. Just scroll down the page. They would probably know which bearing you need.

Thanks, I saw that but the pics are not correct and I cannot imaging my F1a out put bearing being the same price as a d1 or p1. It is much much bigger. I do plan to call them tomorrow. I have to get the rear seal from them anyhow.

Here is my rear out put shaft bearing. It is acually a double roller bearing. I will have a part number tomorrow after I press it off. The front output shaft bearing is the one I posted above and it a different bearing and part number then anything I can find online.

Here is the P1 and D1 bearing.
