Thanks, are you still running the factory power master cylinder with your Strange brakes? I seem to remember that you were. If so, are they SUPER touché? Also did you ever have any noise from your rear brakes when braking them in? I have kind of a roar coming from mine at higher speed stops.

Yeah I was still running the power with the strange brakes, and they were touchy as heck first getting used to them. I was dumb and my break in consisted of a 13 second run followed by a 9.03...I didn't hear anything but I did get on the brakes late on the fast run and had them smoldering before I got shut down. Haven't noticed any noise since. Interested to see how they feel for effort with the manual MC and modified pedal ratio:

After installing the Strange MC, my pedal feels better but, the rear brakes are making a load howling noise. I am goining to block off the 2nd caliper and see if they are just getting to hot.

I guess im wondering how? Isnt the airflow the same or does it have more turbulence on the other side?

You have bends before and after the sensor that shape the flow, is way far from an ideal situation, sensor location is key.

Don't ask me, that is why I was not worried about doing what I did. All I know it I reversed it and the fucker runs now! 5 month waste of time...

If you did when I told you in September..... lol, j/k with you now, just happy is working now and moving ahead.

No data logs today since the temp started at 40* and is now 37* and it has been drizzling all day. So, with that said, I decided to start a garage makeover as well. Bad news is the old girl will sleep outside tonight.

It is 37* and wet here today so the tuning was a no go. Good news is , it will be sunny ad 63* tomorrow!

here is a shot from the last time I redid the garage and then blew the motor the next weekend!

Well that's great news you figured it out. But surprising it made that much difference. Good to know.
Well we had snow showers this morning and a high of 22.

That's T-shirt weather!
I would agree, but the car may have a different opinion on what would make a nice pull.

And just in case you guys want a good laugh, I have been called out by a certain local 640 rwhp GTO. LOL I will post details as they come. He says it is at 800 RWHP today with twin 63s on the car. LOL Fucking street guys... I told them $500 min at the track and I would run him. FYI. he doesn't know what it runs at the track because he has not had it at the track, he only street races...

When medusa is done I'd like to spank that gto as well. All my friends think I'm a stock crank H beam car with twins that are under 58mm. Smh

Billy I can't imagine you still doing pulls on the street, heck my car breaks loose every single time during my 3rd gear pulls soon as the boost begins to build, and I know you're making waaay more power than me! The cooler weather makes a HUGE difference..

Forgot to multi quote. LOL

I made a trans tune for my 4r70w that shifts 1st and 2nd really fast and wont down shift to 2nd and with my loose convertor, I can make a pull from 3700 to 6500 in third that is only at 105-110 mph. If I go though the gears that rpm is closer to 140-145. Not to mention I have a ton of BMR suspension under the car making it hook pretty good. 2-3 pulls are hard though as it spins some if there is not enough heat in the tire.
