I love the procharger
but the roushcharger seems like it maybe a good idear lol

This has been going back and forth in my mind for months and I still cant decide.

The roush is dead silent, which blows to me and the D1SC sounds nasty.

The roush offers insane TQ, the D1 offers little TQ on under 10lbs boost in comparison to the Roush.

Install on the PC is easy with no repinning or timing cover trimming and looks cleaner in the engine bay.

Roush power is instant, I have heard that without a wastegated setup on the PC, it takes too long to get into boost and make real power on the street and it doesnt hit very hard.

I am still wanting to hear what the wastegated procharger setup sounds like.

PS: Paxton/vortech kits are not a designated belt setup and are notorious for shredding belts with their new systems. Install is also not as clean as the procharger but their intake placement is better.

The belt system on the older units had a problem. There are plenty of guys running the Vortech/Paxton with no problems. One being Sean Kelley drives his car to and from the track, clicks off some 9 second passes drives back.

I agree you can't go wrong with either one.

any of the centris are nice.

if were being honest, any s/c on these cars and they will perform well.

There are more centri cars in the 9's are faster than screw.

3 vortech / paxtons and 1 procharger, 1 whipple, and 2 tvs.

to the best of my knowledge.

i just went a 9.99 with my vortech at 10.1 compression motor last weekend.

if you have a good fuel system, 80's are not a necessity either. my 60's are pumping out mid 7's at the wheels through an auto with no problem. I am going to be upgrading mine for more, but right now 9's on 60s' with a triple pump system.

JPC has a nice fuel system too. I made over 700rwhp with twin pumps and 60's

lots of options out there. The paxton is a hell of a kit for the money with the 2200 head unit.

let me know if you need a price on it!
