I've been looking at Foxbody Mustangs for the past few weeks. In my area most of them have been rot boxes. One had a lower driver side strut tower that was literally rotted away. There was basically nothing there for the k-member to bolt too. And they guy was asking $4900. LOL!!!

Anyway, today I looked at pretty decent '91 LX Hatchback 5.0 with an automatic. It's wild strawberry red metallic with black cloth sport interior. It's not perfect and needs a few little things, mostly just to be cleaned up. Gotta put the paperwork in order to finalize everything but it's mine.

Going to be nice to be back in a Mustang. Probably won't be around as much as it's not an S197 or S550. But I'll still stop by to see what's up.

I've been looking for a built lx for a while now. Good ones are usually overpriced by 5-10k. Looking for a dart,f or ysi blown, 8pt, built auto, etc. Seen too many half way done builds or stock block/t5 combos on s trims looking for 15k.

Hard to find a decent one with a legit price.

I classify this car as a 20 footer. Looks great from twenty feet away, but blemishes show themselves up close. Just nice enough to drive and be presentable, but still be able to park in a parking lot without totally obsessing about it getting a ding or small scratch. In a few years she'll get stripped and painted. For now, just small stuff to make it more fun to drive.
