Nope. Mine was good, I think. Maybe I check mine wrong, but I always end up with oil smeared on the dip stick past the full level. But the amount is thicker within the hash marks.

Mine was full but I asked them to check it before I drove 300 miles home from the dealer. That doesnt really mean much so I checked it before I drove it off the lot myself

The car in question passed an oil consumption test so it wasnt burning or using the oil from a full fill of 8 qts down to 3qts, it was low from the factory.
