Found a good deal on Kook LT w/cats. Wondering if the heat will be harmful on track days (usually run 20 - 30 minute sessions. These are SS - not coated).

PS Sorry if already been discussed but could not find it in search

You won't have any issues. I have ARH long tube headers that are SS and not coated, and have NO issues on the road courses driving 30 minute sessions. 8 track days so far - have fun!

I've had Kooks headers with high flow cats on my car for all of my track days this year and haven't had a single issue.

The only time I had heat issues was with three, back-to-back-to-back 25 minute sessions, the last one cut short due to lack of fuel. The issues manifest as a noticably hot floorboard, right where the primaries run into the collector. Honestly, not an issue!
