Cool info on the rocker arm ratios---I didn't know that. I run T&D 1.75 ratio shaft mount rockers. My engine builder also went stronger on the valve springs vs what was recommended--mine are 1,036lbs open and 316lbs on the seat ---but I am sure my roller lifters and pushrods weigh more.

Your cam definitely favors the exhaust side, almost like a nitrous cam until you look at the tight lobe center

I found it interesting that the Yates flat tappet that was in the engine favored the exhaust side more than the new roller does.

The dry sump take arrived. It holds 4 gallons, has three 110 volt heaters, and has a -16 feed and a -20 return. I am going to mount it in the rear seat area.

I started assembling the engine last night and came into the shop early today and finished it. Piston to wall clearance. .008, top ring .025, second ring, .018, piston to head clearance is .041, and the piston and full rock is a tight .020. After CCing everything, the compression is 11.96:1.

Yes, I assembled it in my office. It's cold in the shop and I'm old.

Did you get a picture of the oil pan? Is it billet like the one Roush nearly got in trouble over?

When is it going in the car?

Maybe this week. After that, Kooks wants to use my car to develop engine swap headers for the S197 chassis. This will be an involved process but I hope to have the car on the road in January.

I sold the Mishimoto radiator and bought a used Cup team radiator. It's a double pass design and is 4" thick. To make it fit, I will have to notch and box in the frame rails 1" on both sides. It also has a built in engine oil cooler. I would guess that my on track overheating issues will now be resolved.
