Would it be possible to incorporate a radiator like that with the 4.6? I might have to put one on my christmas wishlist.

What size are these AN fittings? I am setting up a "race" cooling system right now and not sure what I want to do about the size of the upper rad hoses. I figure if it's good enough for NASCAR it's good enough for me.

They look like -16 to me, but with that rad so big they could be -20 and look "normal size" by comparison.

Thanks!:thumb2:

Haha. Well of course, but i wonder if itd efficient for street driving as well as racing. I dont mind doing some modifications to make it fit if i can get a bigger radiator than is available and for cheap. Will this sucker fit with your heat exchanger? Lol

It would be tight with an AC condensor but I think it would fit

I decided that the OEM radiator support had to go. I started making a new core support and fitting the radiator. After all of the welding is done, I will blend in the new support and paint it white.

I started plumbing the coolant and oil lines today. I ran out of fittings and -12 hose so I couldn't complete the job. Getting closer day by day though.

Late to the party, but I've caught up and I'm in for the win. Great build Marc.

The oil filter bracket is built, remote filter is mounted, the coolant, engine oil feed, and valve spring oiler lines are completed. I still have to mount the drysump tank and build the -16 feed line and -20 return line. After those two lines are built, all of the plumbing is done. Then, I can move back to the wiring and the ABS motor delete.
