Good Afternoon,

I purchased the Blue 2005 Mustang GT that KrisR use to have on here with the ON3 system. Awesome car with great power as most of you know. The Masterpower 70MM with .68A/R housing that car has, recently started to smoke occasionally. Turbo only has 8K miles on it now, is that normal with these turbo's? I had considered moving to either a 67MM-76MM ball bearing if this one is toast. Anybody still rebuild these Masterpowers? It does spool pretty fast and I am not disapponted with the power. I am running about 15lbs of boost on 93 octane,
This a street run car mostly running a 8.5 compression ratio MMR lower end with stock heads and cams. Five speed with 3:55's and Drag Radials. While the MP70 does build awesome low end power it does seem that it is choking off power after 5000RPM. I love the low end torque but would like a little more flow up top past 5000rpm. Not building a dyno queen with peak power numbers more concerned with power under the curve and brutal acceleration .Please advise me on recomendiations. Any sponsers have a drop in turbo that may be better quality? Going to be needing to get this swapped out pretty quick.
