Video time

Early bday gift from my dad

Cool for sure! My kids (20 and 14) gave me one for Fathers day on Sun.

Now if I can just get the damn thing off my 14 yr olds Moto helmet I will be good...

Hey matt, quick question. Does the 3.75" 298 stroker RA need a modified windage tray?

im waiting for my buddy so he can hold the laptop

Just remember to take it easy till Lito says its done, you can kill your high fast if you push it! Take you time and do it right. This is not a dyno tune that someone straps it down and makes a few pull and tells you you are good to go. This is a real world tune and you are responsible to make sure it is working on your end as you make the pulls. I know you know this but just dont get caught up in the vids and pulls till it is time. You like myself may not have another build in you. Baby steps brotha, baby steps! The day will come fast enough.

Well at least you guys can have the peace of mind in knowing that you have a tuner who really knows what he's doing.

Thats the part im scared to do... My first WOT lol

Just watch the gauges and make sure you have a safe place to do it, if it is on the road. You need to feel good about where you are making the pulls so you can watch the gauges. If not, do the final high speed pulls at a track. I am lucky that there is a back road close to me that is secluded and I dont mind doing 130-140 mph on without worrying about other people. Main thing is when tuning like this you need to be comfortable and watch everything on the gauges so you can lift when needed. Lito tunes by what you give him, you need to make the calls to save the car if there is an issue. I like to always start with 2nd gear pulls and only to 5k at first. Then 5k in 3rd, Just to see if he likes it. Then to 6k in third, once again being cautious and watching the gauges like a hawk. Then let her eat and see what is there all the while watching the gauges and hoping the "gods" are with me. A little scared is safe in this type of tuning. Lito has never tried to rush anything I am trying to do and that is the way I want it at this point.

I only have a boost and wideband. I feel like I almost need to get a Aeroforce or something to watch fuel pressure and shit.. Idk lol.
I have a good area to do it at, idk about 130mph, but I could get up there. Im just gonna follow what Lito says to a T. Its just gonna be nerve racking.. If I hear metal clanging, im gonna cry lol.. Goodbye DD then

Just watch that WB, that will be the thing that tells you to lift. If you dont feel right just lift no matter what the rpm, send the datalog and try again the next day.

Sometimes you won't hear the clanking. Just a sputter lol.

If you are having lito tune it you are in good hands. All I have is a boost and wideband gauge, both of which are wired up for datalogging. I had someone ride along so that they could help watch the gauges for me(which saved my stock engine when I hooked up the boost controller wrong and my buddy saw 18lbs on the laptop). Just be sure to remember how the car acts so that you can give detailed info back to lito. He won't steer you wrong.

Me and Ryan are following your hookup guide for the firewire to datalog, and hopefully it works lol. Then we will do same for his car haha.

But I trust Lito more than any other person to tune this car.
