Hahahaha I would guess not... So I am getting the 2.3 and haven't heard very good things about the kit that comes with it... I will be running around 16-18psi and around 600rwhp I assume I will need to replace it w/ the Steeda kit??? What are your thoughts???

Yes for that much boost I suggest the kit, but they're are ppl making that without the kit. Also whipple makes an 8-rib kit as well. Just our stock 6 rib belt is really too small for that kind of boost pulley size.

If I was u just get the bigger supercharger rather it be a kennebell or whipple. Getting 600 will be alot less stressful. I had my whipple race ported out to a 2.8 liter so it could pump out more.

Thanks so Much for the advice!!! So the kit is more so for the replacement of the belt then it is for the arm coming from the SC??? So if you don't mind how much does it cost to port the 2.3 out??? Also, what size is the KB???

Steeda for the win man , def . worth the money !

So, I should just bite the bullet and buy it???

The steeda kit is for running a bigger belt so that u don't have belt slip or breakage!! That's it. What made me get the steeda kit is I wanted the 20lb pulley set the offer and that I actually put the SC on it's OWN belt system not sharing anything with the alternator power steering and a/c.

The kenne bell is a 2.6 liter I believe. And the port cost me 800 bucks from Stegemier. The specialize in porting out cobra's supercharger, but will do whipple's too. U just have to ask.

Well I didn't even think about porting it??? I guess here goes some more money!!!!

So how bad is the slippage and breakage issue with the stock Belt??? Also, I think no matter what I am going with the whipple, but I what to know; what does porting bring the size too??? Also, what kind of benefits will I see? Is it more that it just takes less boost to get to a certain level or does it just take some stress off the blower / motor??? I am sorry for the lame questions but I want to do this right!!! Thanks guys!
