Psshhh really old news Josh lol, Just like you use an oem pump for e85, same concept. 405 failures in e85 have all been return setups I might add, I have not seen the same issue in returnless on just a single 405 but not many run it that way only know of a few guys doing it, with my setups anyway.

The 405 was never warrantied for e85 use, the 465 was designed for it and is. Ti stated it could be used with e85, up until the 465 was released and now they will tell you its not recommended for e85 use, same as you could state for any oem pump. The price difference is no longer a factor either as both pumps can be had for about the same price. So can you use a 405 with e85? sure. Is there some risk, sure.
