These are stock castings with stock valves. They have been disassembled and checked here in house before we install the cams. The heads were Saleen nearly new take offs with less than 50 miles on them from when Saleen would build engines for their Extreme S281 and S302 cars.

Man if my supercharger was paid for right now and/or my stock engine was in pieces I would be all over this in zero .2 seconds.

Great price. I do have a question though, if this is rated at 1000hp and uses stock compression why do people buy shortblocks with lower compression?

Compression is unrelated to how much power an engine can handle. Its the components that are in the motor along with keeping detonation out of the engine that will make it support that much power. If you have good enough quality octane a 15:1 compression motor could handle that much or more power. Its all relevant to the fuel your running, heat, boost, timing, and so on. Bottom line is you do not want detonation!

Having higher compression will allow you to make power easier. You dont have to run as much boost and timing to make power. Which running less boost means less heat, less chance for detonation. Now if your going to run high boost on a high compression build I suggest race fuel and good tuning to keep you safe.

Haha we get it all the time, Ive taken countless phone calls about B16 engines and "swaps" but we are "JDM Engineering" and JDM stands for Jim D'Amore Motorsports. My father founded the company name in 1998.

We charge $2500 as flat rate to install and tune this on a supercharged car, $2000 on a NA car since its easier with out the blower.

Or.... if you did the swap while your motor is in one piece it can be sold to offset the cost. Pretty hard to do that with a motor that's in pieces.
Just trying to help...
