yea thanks dude, i was typing his name in as scrambler... like a scrambled egg.... lol

But anyhow, on the "tuner" rims i can't find any wide meats so im just going to go with some ford rims. I can't find any 9 and 10" rims in anything other than 20's and im not going to put 20's on my car. No way no how.

Its a tossup between black bullits deep dish, or black fr500's...

There is a dude on stangnet who has hypercoated fr500's from the 94-04 wheelsets and they look awesome on a black car but im scared the offset will look terrible.

Yea those rims both look awesome, but anything with the name Roush on it is going to be out of my price range

Okay...so I'm just a newb here, but what is it that everyone has against 20's. I still have the stock fanblades on my 06 GT, but plan on upgrading this winter. I've read all the tech stuff about unsprung weight and its effect on performance, but personally I think they look sweet.

Well besides the added weight and cost of 20s, the small sidewall will make your ride very harsh, and they have poor straight line traction because the sidewall will be stiff. I also just consider it a bling move, and I hate bling.

Not as much bling, they just look really awkward because all you see is... rim.... I kind of like to see tires aswell.

Ditto... 20s just plain look ghetto to me. I prefer the small wheel - fat rubber look!

I have 20s on my car and they look nice as hell , IMO and with the Nitto drs I have a 1.58 60 ft on the street tune , but I will agree they are not for all and I my even be switching mine out for 18s soon or other 20s that will work with the GT500 front brekes I want to install.

Anyone have any opinions on wheels for the 08? A guy i work with wants to buy my stocker rims w/ tires for 600. Too good of a deal to pass up and not get new wheels.

I wouldnt mind goin against the grain and gettin a non ford type wheel but all the ones i look at are not wide enough. Anyone have suggestions?The ones that I have are just one of the ones with the right offset KV5.Goodf luck

plus the chrome that they sell today,the front wheels will get destroyed from the brake dust

Silver is good,or powercoaded black.Nice rim too,just make sure that they are the right offset,so they dont rub all over the place and lok like shit

When the brake dust goes in between those tiny spokes they'll look dirty all the time.Get a 5 spoke or something that you'll be able to reach to easy and everywhere and clean

And how many decades will that take? My chrome bullitts look as good today as they did 3-1/3 years ago when I bought them. 45K miles....

If your's are all the same size,and you rotate them like you're supposed to,then they'll get darker even,but if you run staggered setup,live by the ocean(NJ,salt water air,winter with snow+salt+sand,and acid rain like 2-3 times a year)in 2 years the crome on those weels will be peeling of so bad dude like you wouldn't believe.(thats ofcourse if you run them all the time)If you have winter wheels thats something different!It all depends where you live and how you use them(track/DD).My friend both chrome TSW Jarma wheels looks bad ass,but the chrome was peeling of so bad in just 2 years,it looks like corn flakes!!MY Close to salty water+winters=NO NO chrome
