Next Thursday will be my first "real" nitrous passes, as long as the weather holds out. Was supposed to go yesterday but (Thursday night races) but it was rained out.

Hoping for 5.50s or 5.60s. Already turned a 5.894 on motor only 3 weeks ago so that should be doable with a 200 shot. :boobies:

1.28 60' first time out

Video uploading now.......

Went to the track tonight, got the car to 60 foot a 1.28 (felt good haha), and a 3.61 to the 330 foot mark. Car carried the wheels a nice 30 feet or so, left very nice.

Conservative tune - 200 shot, 2 jet spread from nitrous/fuel, 7 psi fuel pressure, 8 degrees timing pulled (30 degrees on motor to 22 degrees on N20). I will probably keep the tune here, because its very safe-- all though I could increase the spread to 4 and take the fuel pressure down to 6psi--but I think that would be pushing it.

Unfortunately a CRAZY night at the track. Someone had a seizure in the lanes and the ambulance and paramedics were in the lanes for 45 minutes. Then the track was bad, alot of moisture, 3 crashes, and I almost made it crash number 4, but I kept it off the wall. Got out of shape at 400 feet, so I lifted to live another day.

nice save Paul

a bit hard to tell from the angle, but is the driver side rising a bit higher and twisting the car off the line? ARB need a tweak?

Yep, sure does. It does it a little on motor, a little more pronounced on the hose, so going to adjust it this weekend.

OH SNAP! THAT BITCH leaves like it means business now. I hate it when the dew starts to fall on the track. Once I see it on the roof of the cars, thats it, I'm done...were going home boys. Load the ole heap up...
Broke loose right after you shifted

Basically. I have a separate button on the steering wheel. So I arm it, then when I let go of the trans brake I also hit the button with my left hand on the steering wheel.

Ken3030 was telling my last night just to wire it to the trans brake, so when I let go, it automatically goes on. But I like the control of the second button, where I can turn it on/off whenever I want.

Just to put a bow on this thread:

200 shot, great 1/8th mile pass of 5.564 @ 126.74 mph.

On another pass I stayed in it till 1000 feet, then coasted to a 8.756 @ 152.50 mph. ET / MPH would have been an 8.6X @ 157 mph without lifting, but will know for sure on Jan 25th, when I go back out to the track.

I am going to need a chute and chute mount from JPC......
