Anyone on here going to Neligh Neb. Airport stoplight drags? July 4, 2013

This is the first I'm hearing of it. May ditch the family crap and go.

They shut down the small airport over in Neligh each year for a small drag racing get-together. It started out real small with just the locals, but now word has gotten out and a lot of cars have started showing up. The problem is that you end up waiting awhile in line to get to the line. Rumor is this is the last year they are going to do it, but they said that last year. They have a tree, but nothing more than a stop sign just short of 1/8 mile down the run way. No guard rails or anything else. It is put on by a local Young Mens Group and Hot Rod Club.





This vid is from last year, and at :45 you can see me race in last years trim(485rwhp). I got really loose and had to even hit the brakes.

Are you running a wot box? I have mine set at 6000 and thats where my pulls were through. Im not sure what Lito leaves the limiter at.

I was j.w. not a big deal either

Putting a new clutch in so tranny is out.

Putting is a centerforce clutch.

Back in had to do this twice because I forgot the spacer for the throwout bearing the first time.

Removing the 4.10 FRPP gears and going back to the stock 3.55 gears now that it has a turbo.

The gear swap is done now all I have left is a little exhuast work to do.

How are you liking your clutch so far? Which model Centerforce is it? Stock flywheel?

Centerforce DF611679 Clutch Kit, Dual Friction, 1 1/16 in. Diameter Shaft, 10-Spline, 11 in. Diameter Disc, Ford, Kit. I like it so far but still breaking it in. Had the stock flywheel turned.
