SBE 3V 102K miles unopened stock motor (stock heads / cams / bottom end) at Marion County Raceway last night.
Right now with me in it and a full tank of E85 we are about 3640. Last night we raced 1/8 mile and we beat that time slip. That's an amazing run on a stock long block. Assuming a race weight of close to 3700lb, according to my calculations you must have close to 600rwhp.
Thank you .That is an awesome run, stock block or not.
Crazy!
Are you going to ride it out until it goes, or do you plan to build it?
If it comes out in one piece, you should magnaflux the rods to see if any cracks have started to form.A fully built long block is about 2 or 3 weeks out. Diamond flattop pistons / Molnar Power Adder Rod's / ARP hardware all around / Manley crank / bored 0.10 / MMR Stage 2 heads and cam's .
We are going to send the SBE till she quits or the built motor is ready to put into her. Hoping to take it out in one piece for sure.
I plan on doing a tear down video to show that it really is a stock bottom end and see how it held up.If it comes out in one piece, you should magnaflux the rods to see if any cracks have started to form.
Do it!!! You need the sticker i have on my back passenger bumper then!!Seeing this makes me want to get a smaller pulley for mine and just send it...
