Search Function Screwed ???

What the hell happened? It was already pretty bad. But as of past few weeks it barely works. Wont find threads or posts that I know exist. I can search everything for a simple word and I get like 2 returns. More than one word and often no results at all or stuff unrelated. Tried playing with search settings and that doesnt help either.

Funny how much people bitched about VBulletin forums but the search function worked.

use this format in a google search box - it will work very well

site:s197froum.com "your search string"

It maybe a phone thing as I tried what he was looking for on the computer and it worked.

Its def mobile related. Works fine on my laptop just tested too. Search same thing same settings here on my phone as I type this and zero results.

Tried that, still no joy. Zero returns using my phone.

Also tried your google trick no go.

More info when I type in a single word like "fuel" or "turbo". I do get a few hits and they are all from 2020.

And no I dont have the "most recent" box checked.

I search for all kinds of things. But most time I remember learning something here in a thread and I go to freshen up on it. But now it's not possible to quickly pull up a post thread.

But for example I tried again today "longtube headers". Should get 1,000 of hits right. Zero returns.

But if I search "headers" I get like 25 hits but they are all from March and April of this year. Wont pull results further back then that.

Agreed I got similar issue on my iPad

but goggle seems to work.
