Holy shit, some days I swear you guys would fight over the color of a turd....
Haha I was just thinking about that ... religion we stay civil ... throw a civic or cops into the mix then![]()
All i know is if i get pulled over and i get a ticket, its my fault. If i dont i say thank you and go on my merry way. Remember this they are just doing their job, period. Im sure more than half of the people on this site make more than any leo does. Which is sad since they are out there putting their life on the line to serve and protect you.
Yes you guys are right, a police officers personal matters (be it marital problems, depression, etc etc) outside of work should totally influence his upholding of laws while on duty. Because that's more reasonable??![]()

It is your responsibility as a responsible driver to maintain your vehicle, ex: making sure your speedo is right, and knowing your local and state laws on mods.
Thing is though I love those dumb asses, they pay my bills!!!! I'm a Paramedic; I love sticking needles in people, and my wife is a Paralegal for a personal injury lawyer; she loves taking everything your retarded ass has ever made! So please keep on doing stupid shit!
Flame suit in 5..4..3..2..1....go!
Unfortunately around here police don't seem to care about how a vehicle is maintained, I can't tell you how many times I see someone driving with obviously under inflated tire, cords showing, or other careless lack of vehicle maintenance. This is the problem with the laws and how they are enforced. I can be driving 10 over and could actually be safer than the guy running around with no brakes and cords showing.
I hate sue happy people, hopefully your wife isn't working for an ambulance chaser.

Whats the cost of living in NY? I know its not cheap and from what Ive heard 100k in NY is not much. Starting pay for LEO here in Ga is around 28k a year with maybe a 3% raise every year.
