Talk to Kelly at BMR. He's the suspension guru (and the BMR products are nice, too). He's honest enough to readily tell you when another brand product will suit your needs better, though.

Maybe you could get the rear braces fabbed up out of a stronger material. The ones on my car are kinda flimsy.

I noticed a huge difference once I put a 4 pt roll bar in, one that bolts to the b-pillar not the floorpan.

That is what I would do, considering the price and ease.

But yes, a roll bar is the ultimate way to promote more rigidity from the S197 chassis, especially a vert.

I threw away the stock vert braces. I sling my vert around like a coupe. I run a roll/light bar, strut tower brace and subframes.

How much weight do these rolls bars add ? On a similar note, same deal for folks who drag race, and their ET is < XXX secs.

Mine are not welded I have the bolt on umi subframes that merge the inner and outer frame rails. They have plates on either side if you want to weld them as well.

depends if it's a 4 or 6 pt, in general 80-110#
