OK I'll give this a shot if you could share some further information on what you have.
I might have missed the year of your Mustang ? 2010
What engine ? 4.6 L 3V
Transmission ? 5 Spd manual w factory clutch
Optional packages as in like, Trak-Pack, rear end gearing etc. ? 18 inch American racing torque thrust II's, 3.73 rear end, no track pak or line lock. 5 Spd manual transmission with factory clutch.

Lastly, what is it specifically you are wanting to do with your Mustang ? I'm looking to overall for speed and handling. Ultimately something similar to a slalom car that has speed but can still corner really good.

Based on this info I would do a tune and suspension. I would skip the CAI personally, for now. Suspension for cornering, I would do at least, shocks/struts and lowering springs of your choice. Springs are all relatively the same, minus the drop height.

For drag, I would do upper and lower control arms with brackets.

I have to disagree. Having extra money each month is nice....but if it's small enough then, for someone like me, I'd waste it. I'm not good at managing my money. But a nice chunky refund let's me actually do something with it. Like pay off a credit card or pay down my car or something.

I agree with stkjock. It took me a long time to learn money management but its the difference between owning a Mustang GT and a Ford Fiesta....

Make sure your W-4 is accurate.

Big tax refunds are just silly. Yet another way Uncle Sam tricks uneducated people into thinking they're winning. Getting back their own money that they loaned to the government for a year, with no interest paid. Yeah, sounds legit.
