errr maybe your right. Its my fault for pretty much every tuner fucking me over. Also its my fault about MMR ripping me off that way. I heard more good things about Mmr then bad. That's why I went with them. I spent 2-3 month researching before buying a SB. It looks like some of you guys should get into fortune telling since your all knowing. Sheesh

I'm in the market for a winning lottery ticket number! As for MMR, don't think I'll ever buy anything from them after hearing how they treated you.

That's because you have selective hearing. :naughty:

There were many of us telling you to watch out for MMR before you bought the shortblock. Be honest Ted... you went the cheap route and it cost you in the long run. I've been on this planet a long time, and I can't remember how many times I've had to buy something twice because I tried to save some money up front.

There's never enough time or money to do it right the first time, but there is always time and money to do it twice...

I don't think you ever stop learning that lesson - just cut down on the feedback time it takes to realize your repeated mistake...

In the past 10 years or so, I've made a concerted effort to learn that lesson. I'm not always 100% successful, but much better than when I was younger.

price, location, warranty, and talked to people that did had their engines at that time also with many calls and e-mails.. They also have a pretty good positive feed back on Ebay as we speak so this idea of ohhh you should have known better is bs. I dont expect everyone to be perfect but I gave them a second chance to fix it and they decided to play the FU card while wasting my time. After this game is over they will be hearing from me again. It some what easy to find a product or service someone didnt like. Like doing a search on hi-flo cats and some issues people had with them. maybe 2% .. does that mean you dont by them? If you do and something bad happens is it your fault and not that of the Manufacture? Hummm..

The over bore that is. Anyone?
These Aluminum blocks are cast with an iron sleeve for the bore in place. When you bore it out, you make this sleeve thinner which means that it cannot handle as much pressure without flexing. So, the trouble is that if you take a spanking new block and bore it out .030 - then you can't bore it again without making the walls too thin when you rebuild...

Cekim - thanks... for the info.

I'll figure that is you over bore it on a rebuild you need to replace the pistons then as well due to the slight change in the diameter of the cylinder?
