Is the vent functional on those?
Sadly no, Shelby did make a 'deep draw' terilingua hood that had some nice big functional vents, but in order for them to sell it to you, you had a to be a registered Shelby owner. I woulda loved it but *APPARENTLY* having an authentic GT500 bumper I bought off Craigslist ... just ... wasn't ...good enough :Big Laugh:

I ended up making mine sort of functional though. When they pulled it out of the mold I think the underside panel drooped down a bit because I had rubbing issues on the throttle body and intake, even after lowing the engine on the mounts by a couple spacers. So I cut out the center of the underside panel to get me the clearance I needed. Then while I was there I cut out an exit hole down by the cowl area. I had the idea at the time that A) I could stop the hood fluttering (didn't have the hood pins at the time) and it might actually make it functional. The engine was stock w/ an intake + tune at the time so I couldn't say if it actually made a difference or not. My work was pretty sloppy at the time and I didn't cut out any extra venting on the hood blanket (so it's got a couple 1" holes for the heat to go through -- I didn't know if the heat being allowed to go directly on the backside of the exterior panel was going to cause any cracking or blistering, so I was using the blanket as a heat shield). I'd like to go back and re-do it one of these days.

And the Saleen headlights? Nicely put together combo more on the subtle side, that folks need to know what they're looking at, I like it!

Yup, I got those off eBay about 10 years ago for a pretty penny at the time. Wanted HIDs while keeping the reflector style, and liked the look a lot better than the Ford HID housings
