For the first time in a very long time the car has finally made a successful dyno pull without breaking anything ...yea (insert fingers crossed for luck smilie here)

Just doing the heat cycle pulls right now. On the spring only to 6500 rpm and heat cycling at different rpm levels.

Results...

(SUPER conservative) at 7 psi, 10º of timing, 10.5 a/f to 6500 rpm = 547 rwhp

Getting ready to go to 20 psi with 10º of timing and 10.5 a/f to 7000

By Tomorrow night, she should be ready for the big boy pulls...:chainsaw:

I'll have to post some vids - this thing is wicked!!

Don't know if it's the heads with the jesels or what - but this thing is revving faster than any modular I have seen...:boobies:

Can't wait to go to the track. So far it is far more wicked than Greg's set-up at the same level and he was running 5.30's in the 1/8...:chainsaw:

Cool beans
glad to see it paying off for ya

Thanks brother. Don't think there'll be too many more dynos. The tires blow off over 800 rwhp and I think it's just to much for greg's dyno to handle. Have to see it's real potential at the track but it is definitely wicked.

Greg's car ran 5.34 1/8 and he couldn't get a dyno read (was doing the same thing as mine) after 750 so we never will really know the real dyno number fo the car but that's just fine... I'm looking for ET's not dyno's...lol

Thanks again for all your help man!:beerchug2:

Yep - dyno's done - ready for the track to final tune now.

The final tune for now is staying very conservative. The last pull was my last tune (for now) and it is 22 psi with 10.5 a/f and a mere 10º of timing.

On that pull, it blew the tires off at 856 rwhp but was easily climbing and we shut it down at 6400 rpm. I will be shifting at the track at 7400 rpm and this thing is going to pull all through it - I know it. There are about 10 guys at the shop right now and everyone is pretty awestruck. It is one wicked SOB for sure. I'll get some vids posted up by tomorrow. It's nice to finally be excited about this car again...:boobies:

driving it home?

Nah - got some clean-up cosmetic stuff and the inlet tube to the throttle body is a little sketchy so I am going to make a bracket tomorrow to secure it better so it won't blow off and some other minor cosmetic stuff. Figure I'll drive it home on Monday.

Holy Shit it is finally done Congratulations!!

If he didnt have so many motor problems it would have been done a long time ago. First motor knocked, and this one just got fixed 1 day ago. Go figure a day later its ready.

Mark I left the shop before Greg, he said when he gets home the vids/pics will go up.
