Might be putting this bad boy in the car ( minus the blower). It's a 604 ci BBF with aluminum block, AR hemi heads, aluminum rods, and all the goodies. At 11.7:1 with twin 88s and alcohol as fuel, it would make a ton of power.

Can't wait to see the stock 3V motor you're putting in her!

:asshat:

yeah, I know it's a joke....

I wanted to do a color other than the usual wrinkle black or silver vein. I was a little unsure at first, but now I am very excited about it.

16x16" wheel. Probably gonna run a big tire (33 or 34" tall x 16 or 17" wide) for a while to get used to the car before switching over to the smaller 10.5W at some point in the future.

I still can't wait to see finished photos and videos of this beast.
So what is your plan nowadays for the motor and trans?

Fuck that is going to be a lot of horsepower. Any particular class you are building it for? What cylinder head? (A441, C441, Boss9?)

A441 Heads. I'm gonna have the boost turned way down initially.. No class. Just gonna have fun with it for a while and see how that goes.

I initially built the car around the rules of the Outlaw 10.5 class of NMRA and NMCA (with the exception of a couple of things that are easily changed). The NMRA Outlaw 10.5 class no longer exists. The NMCA cars are now running in the 6.30s. I don't feel comfortable going that fast yet and I certainly don't have the money or experience to be competitive against those guys.

Things may change later, but for now I'm just gonna have fun with it. Realistically, from a monetary and time standpoint, I doubt I'll have it track ready until 2015.

I'm just excited to get the car home from the chassis shop so I can start doing most of the work myself again. That's where most of the fun lies for me anyway.

I have a few more pics when I get a chance to post them. You may notice that the front frame rails, shock towers, and firewall haven't been powder coated. That's because I need to go back and fill in holes and do some body work there. I will then paint those areas.

This is the structural tree that ties the front clip together and supports it. It looks like a work of art. It's a shame that it will be mostly hidden.

These are the frames that will support the Lexan side windows.
