a centri doesn't shock the motor like a PD blower. the boost comes on gradually not a big hit like a PD. Just be mindful to not jump out and immediately back in to the throttle.

They don't seem to shock load the crank as much as the manifold mount blowers. That seems to be a concensus among some of the builders.
